Rachel is a Wellcome-funded doctoral researcher exploring experiences at the end of life that could be understood in material and/or metaphysical ways. This project came out of her professional experience as a nurse. She previously studied cultural theory and English literature. Rachel is a Visiting Fellow at the Centre for Death and Society at the University of Bath and a lecturer in the Department for Interprofessional Healthcare at City St George's University. Her research has been published in the journals Nursing Philosophy and Anthropologica.
