
Sonia Turcotte is interested in animal-human relations and social ecology, in particular the experiences of animals in food systems. They are an doctoral researcher at the University of Manchester, exploring intensive farming practices and how intensity is experienced by farmed animals.
They are also a designer, researcher and facilitator in the public and social change sector.
Sonia runs a monthly slow reading group on animals.
